The Haciendas at La Quinta is a charming small gated community within a short golf cart drive to Old Town La Quinta shops and restaurants. As a resident community of the La Quinta Resort and Spa, Haciendas at La Quinta residents may purchase a non-recallable Heritage Social membership at the Citrus Club at La Quinta Resort for a $15,000 membership deposit (which is refundable if membership is later cancelled) and $245 monthly dues. The Heritage membership gives residents access to the Citrus Clubhouse,participation in a calendar of social events, and unlimited use of the tennis and fitness facilities of the La Quinta Resort. Heritage Social members also receive preferred rates on 5 resort golf courses which currently include the La Quinta Resort Mountain and Dunes courses, PGA WEST Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course, PGA WEST Stadium Golf Course and PGA WEST Greg Norman Course. Members will also have access to the new Citrus fitness center and lap pool scheduled to open in spring 2008.

Heritage social members receive preferred rates too. These discounts include preferred rates on rooms at the La Quinta Resort, the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa and the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, dining discounts at the Mountain and Dunes clubhouse and at the La Quinta Resort restaurants of AZUR, Twenty6 and Adobe Grill, discounts in the Citrus, Mountain and Dunes golf shops, and access and discounts at Spa La Quinta.

Heritage Golf membership includes all of the above, plus golf members will enjoy unlimited golf at The Citrus, and La Quinta Resort Mountain and La Quinta Resort Dunes courses. Heritage Golf membership requires a $100,000 initiation deposit and $788 month. Junior Golf is exactly the same membership but is available to member and spouse under age 45 and comes with interest free financing.

Heritage Golf members are currently entitled to add Desert Golf privileges. Desert Golf members pay higher monthly dues of $1166, and have privileges to play at The Citrus, Mountain and Dunes courses, plus all golf courses associated with The Club at PGA WEST (Buyer to verify).
